Significationt Findings - Past 5 Years

• Demonstrated the soil morphological characteristics, properties, pedogenic processes and classification of different Soils Orders in Taiwan.
• Demonstrated the data base system and background concentrations of heavy metals in soils-plants system or polluted soils.
• Evaluated the remediation techniques tested in cultivated soils contaminated by heavy metals (cadmium and lead) and make recommendations for EPA.
• Enhancing the methodology to establish the criteria and guidelines of soil quality, especially for heavy metals in soils.
• Soil nutrient dynamics of subtropical forest Ecosystem in south Taiwan.
