Future Research Plans

• Evaluate the soil remediation technique for soil and sediment contaminated with heavy metals (cadmium, lead, copper, and zinc) or organic materials.
• Evaluate the guidelines of soil quality or criteria in different land uses.
• Enhancing the understanding of genetic processes of cultivated soils (rice-growing soils) and high mountains forest soils, especially on the volcanic soils (Andisols), Ultisols, and Spodosols.
• Soil nutrient balance of agricultural long tern ecologyical site in Taiwan.
